Kensal Rise Warehouse

Conversion

This was an old, derelict warehouse that we converted into a two bedroom house for a private client, designed by Waldoworks Ltd. The main building work included knocking through the concrete floors and roof to take a new staircase up the middle of the building and adding a timber structured room on top to create another level.

The renovation works included building bespoke timber and metal staircases, ply cladding the staircase and bathroom walls, fitting reclaimed warehouse timber doors to the front garage, finishing the roof extension in cedar boarding and fitting scaffold board decking to the roof terraces. The work took just under seven months.
